B&D Homes was founded on a simple belief: homeowners deserve a contractor they can trust completely. We're not the biggest company, and that's by design. Every project gets our personal attention, owner oversight, and the kind of honest communication that's become rare in this industry.
We started in Southern Arizona and we have moved our base to Queen Creek. We have lived in Arizona for thirteen years, so we know these homes, the climate, the materials that last out here, and what it takes to build so a house still looks right in ten years. The East Valley is new ground for us and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What comes with us is the same crew standards and a reputation we are not willing to spend.

Why Ken came back to building
Ken started in the trade laying tile alongside his father. In California he worked on the build of an assisted living facility and then stayed on to help run it.
When the family moved to Arizona he took a job as a facilities manager for an assisted living company, moved into leadership, and eventually became CEO.
That decade taught him something most contractors never learn: what it is like to be the owner. To approve a bid, watch the budget move, and then live with the building for the next ten years. He has been the one getting the bad news late, and paying for it.
After Covid he went back to building, and B&D Homes is the result. How we communicate, how we price, and how early we raise a problem all come from having been on the other side of it.
